Contact notes: add context to your X connections
How to write and manage notes on your contacts in tendX. Notes appear in the side panel, dashboard, and your synced Google Sheet.
What are contact notes?
Each contact in tendX can have a single freeform note. It's a place to write down context that interaction counts don't capture: why you started following someone, what you talked about, what to bring up next time.
Notes are limited to 500 characters.
Writing a note from the side panel
- Visit a tracked contact's profile on X.
- Open the tendX side panel.
- Switch to the Note tab.
- Type your note and click Save.
To remove a note, click Clear.
Writing a note from the dashboard
- Open the tendX dashboard.
- Click any contact in your table to open their detail view.
- Switch to the Note tab.
- Type your note and click Save.
Notes stay in sync
If you write a note in the side panel, it shows up in the dashboard immediately, and the other way around. You don't need to refresh or reload anything.
Google Sheets sync
If you've connected Google Sheets, notes appear in a dedicated column in your synced sheet. They sync automatically with the rest of your contact data.
You don't need to enable anything extra. If Sheets sync is on, notes are included.
